What it is
General Santos uses Kalilangan as its civic festival for the founding anniversary. The public programme, when the city publishes one, has included cultural shows, a street dancing competition and a presentation of the city’s communities, including Blaan and Tboli days in some years. The name is associated with a Maguindanaon word for a gathering. This page will not pretend that gloss is a schedule. The schedule is whatever the city posts for the year.
