The Peanut Festival is Enrile, Cagayan’s town festival, tied to the feast of Our Lady of Snows. The usual public days are 3 to 5 August, with the feast on 5 August. The 2026 window has passed. This page will not invent a crop statistic or a 2027 ticket.

What it is
Enrile marks the feast with a civic programme about the town’s peanut farms: a congress, cook-fest and bazaar in years when the municipality schedules them. The religious day is the 5 August feast. The farm events sit beside it. They are not a substitute for the Mass. Older pages that give a percentage of national peanut output are not used here. Those numbers were not in a municipal source checked for this review.

Use 5 August as the feast, and 3 to 5 August as the pattern for the public programme. Sports schedules have started in mid-July in some years. That does not move the feast. As of 12 September 2026 the last feast has passed. Ask the municipality of Enrile before you treat 3 August 2027 as a street-closure day.

- The feast and the cook-fest may be different venues. Confirm which one you want.
- August heat is serious. A bazaar is not an air-conditioned hall unless the town says so.
